Rotary Global Scholars
As part of Rotary District 7930, the Rotary Club of Cambridge accepts applications annualy for a competitive academic grant. Applicants will compete for a $30k scholarship grant. The one District award winner will study and live abroad while gaining a graduate-level degree for one to four academic years from a foreign learning instuition. Applicants must be studying in one of the following Seven Areas of Focus:
1) Water, hygiene and sanitation
2) Peace and conflict prevention
3) Disease prevention and treatment
4) Maternal and child health
5) Basic education and literacy
6) Community economic development
7) Environment
Eligibility
- Sincerity about maintaining a lifelong relationship with Rotary after the scholarship period?
- Excellent leadership skills and potential
- A proven record of success in his or her academic field or vocation
- A commitment to community service
- Well-defined and realistic goals
- Concrete ideas for advancing within his or her chosen field
