Leadership Seminar by Cambridge Community Leaders

for Cambridge Rindge & Latin School

National Honor Society Members

Rotary Club of Cambridge Awards

$6,000 in scholarships and matching grants

Ten outstanding community business and non-profit leaders facilitated a discussion on leadership characteristics with 60 members of the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School National Honor Society at a breakfast at the Harvard Faculty Club on May 14, 2009.  Harvard University provided both the location and all the food. The Rotary Club awarded four $1,000 scholarships to outstanding members of the Honor Society, along with four matching $500 grants to a Cambridge non-profit organization selected by each scholarship winner, in recognition of the important Rotary places on service to the community. The ten leaders gave generously of their time and experience to honor the achievement of each student in gaining membership in the Honor Society.
