Our Annual Service Events

  • Thanksgiving Dinner for low-income residents of the YMCA, YWCA and Salvation Army
  • Christmas party for Salvation Army Daycare Center
  •  Bell ringing to raise funds for Salvation Army
  • College scholarships for Cambridge Honor Society students with donations to the non profit organizations they served 

 

Our Annual Fundraiser

  • Chalk on the Walk in Havard Square in October

 

Youth Leadership

  • Annual sponsorship for students to attend Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) training 
  • Sponsorship of 2 Interact Clubs in Cambridge high schools 

       

Basic Education and Literacy

  • Support STEM programs in Cambridge, including Innovators for Purpose and Science Club for Girls
  • Provide Dictionaries to 3rd graders in Cambridge
  • Donated diversity and inclusion book to all Cambridge public school classrooms
  • Sponsor and host global graduate-level students in Cambridge
  • Through Cambridge based Distressed Children Intl, sponsored 25 girls in rural Bangladesh to attend school and receive preventative medical care and environmental education
  • Foundation grant to Reach out and Read  
  • Backpacks of school supplies for refugee children through INEE 
Disease Prevention and Treatment
  • Raise funds for Polio eradication thru Polio Plunge  
  • Wheel chair project in Mexico
  • PPE distributed to Cambridge Police Dept, CASPAR, Salvation Army, Somerville Homeless Coalition and Intl Istitute of New England

 

Supporting our Environment

  • Tree planting project
  • Plastic film collection project

 

Peace Building and Conflict  Prevention

  • Supported a Peace Program outing for Israeli and Palestinian students

 

Food Insecurity and Homelessness

  • Special 2020 grants for food supplies for the City of Cambridge temporary shelter for the homeless during pandemic crisis, as well as CASPAR, Salvation Army and Food for Free
  • PPE distributed to the Camridge Police Dept. as well as CASPAR, Salvation Army, Somerville Homeless Coalition and Intl Institute of New England
  • Foundation grant and furniture drive for Furnishing Hope 
  • Cooked dinners for guests of CASPAR
